Chapter History

The Iota Chi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was founded at Temple University on May 4, 2014. We were the fifth Panhellenic organization here at Temple. We are proud that our chapter is filled with a well-rounded and diverse group of women. 

Since our installation in 2014, we have raised over $50,000 for our philanthropic partners through events such as Battle of Xi Bands, CheeXI Tots (a late-night food sale), and our signature clothing Thrift event. This year, we are proudly supporting Our Closet, which provides basic needs clothing to vulnerable individuals in the greater Philadelphia region. 

Our Sisters strive to uphold Alpha Xi Delta's core values of leadership, academic excellence, sisterhood, and service. Our chapter works tirelessly to promote these core values every day for our members and the greater community.
